Today marks one-year anniversary of Israel-Gaza conflict and still there are no signs of the ceasefire with continuous efforts from the international community. However, the situation has worsened as the war has expanded further to other parts of Middle East, including Lebanon and Iran.
In a recent news, it has been reported that the bombings of Israel on Lebanon have been intensified since the past few days, especially after the recent retaliatory attack of Iran on Israel. Therefore, the Pakistani government has reported that around 180 Pakistani nationals have been stranded there and are now being transferred to their home country via special foreign flight.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has approved the repatriation process of Pakistani nationals and a special airline flight, Cham Wings, a Syrian Airline, will be used to carry out this mission.
Also, an Airbus A320 will be used to carry out this special mission from Lebanon to Pakistan. As reported by a CAA official, “Cham Wings will operate a special flight using an Airbus A320 to bring back 180 Pakistanis from Lebanon.”
On that note, the airline will be going to bring the stranded Pakistani nationals back to Pakistan within the next 48 hours as confirmed by the Pakistan’s ambassador in Lebanon.
