The Iran-Israel conflict is still ongoing for three days with a surge of weapons and ballistic missiles which two countries are firing at each other. Today, Israel attacked Iran’s defense ministry including the main gas depot, the Shahran fuel depot, which it set on fire. According to the officials, the Shahran fuel depot consists of 11 storage tanks which exploded one after the other and also pose great threat to the neighborhood communities. However, the people from the vicinity sites moved to safer locations.
On the other hand, some analysts believe that Israel is doing all this because it wants to build a new regime in Iran and dismantle the current government. According to Michael Singh of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and a former senior official under President George W. Bush, “One assumes that one of the reasons that Israel is doing that is that they’re hoping to see regime change. It would like to see the people of Iran rise up.”

Similarly, Sima Shine, a former chief Mossad analyst and now a researcher at Israel’s Institute for National Security Studies, stated, “Israel probably cannot take out completely the nuclear project on its own without the American participation.” Shine further said, “These people were very vital, very knowledgeable, many years in their jobs, and they were a very important component of the stability of the regime, specifically the security stability of the regime. In the ideal world, Israel would prefer to see a change of regime, no question about that.”

President Trump of the United States conveyed that a deal of peace could easily be established between Iran and Israel if both countries come on the table while at the same time, he warned Iran not to hit any US target in this conflict otherwise US will respond back in a very fierce manner. He stated, “If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before. However, we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel, and end this bloody conflict.”
