In a recent news, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has set a date for the hearing of Toshakhana case against Imran Khan on October 29. It should be noted that the court bench consists of Chief Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Gul Hassan Aurangzeb. Both these judges accepted to hear the Toshakhana case early and hence, given October 29 as the day for the case hearing.
However, it is pertinent to mention here that the accountability court Judge Muhammad Bashir had filed charges on Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, for a 14-year sentence on Toshakhana case. As of now, the appeal against this case has been pending which is now scheduled for hearing on October 29.
It should be noted that the Islamabad High Court has also ordered the PIMS executive for the formation of a special medical board to examine the underlying health conditions of Imran Khan at Adiala Jail. However, Dr. Faisal Sultan, the personal physician of Imran Khan, would also be included in this medical board as per the orders of Islamabad High Court (IHC).
