Following the horrendous and shocking death of Hamas top leader, Ismail Haniyeh, on Wednesday, Pakistan has announced to observe a National Day of Mourning on Aug 2, 2024, Friday, to condemn the extraterritorial killing of Haniyeh and to demonstrate solidarity with Palestine. In a consultative meeting held in Islamabad, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with the representatives of all the allied parties, took the decision to observe a day of mourning today across Pakistan. He also discussed the atrocities with which Palestinians have been suffering for the last nine months in the meeting.
Furthermore, the premier also announced that a resolution will be passed in Parliament to demonstrate full-fledged support for the Palestinians and to hold Israel responsible for the terrorism in Gaza. It was also decided in the meeting that an absentia funeral prayer of Ismail Haniyeh will be held across different cities in Pakistan on Friday and special prayers will be made for the safety of the people of Palestine.
It should be noted that all the participants of the meeting, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, pleaded with the United Nations to take a firm stand for Palestinians and held Israel responsible for all the heinous war crimes that it has committed against the Palestinians till date.
He also reiterated the fact, in solidarity with Palestine, that over the past nine months, Israel has brutally killed over 40,000 Palestinians, including women and children. Those who survived are now living in miserable conditions, having no access to food, water, shelter, or medical facilities. He also urged the international authorities, in solidarity with Palestine, to keep providing humanitarian aid to Gaza and appreciated the countries that condemned Israel and supported Palestine on the subject matter.
My enthusiasm for your creations is as high as my own. The painting you’ve presented is attractive, and the writing you’ve created is of a high caliber. Nevertheless, you appear distrustful of the prospect of embarking on a project that may be seen as suspicious. I know you’ll be able to deal with this issue in a timely manner.
