In a recent news, the KP Assembly has called its urgent session on the immediate release of CM KPK, Ali Amin Gandapur, yesterday. The notification has been issued yesterday citing the urgency of the situation. It should be noted that CM KPK, Ali Amin Gandapur, has been missing from KP House, Islamabad, since he reached Islamabad for protest. However, it is pertinent to mention here that the Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, in a press conference has stated that the CM KPK, Ali Amin Gandapur is not in the custody of any institution and that he ran from the main gate of the KP House, Islamabad when the police entered there. He further stated that we have proofs that he himself ran away from the KP House, Islamabad.

On the other hand, the Information Minister of KPK, Barrister Saif, has denied the claims of the Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, and stated that what he is saying is utter lie and that the CM KPK, has been held hostage by the government.
