On Oct 1, the Israeli military has ordered residents in more than 20 areas of southern Lebanon to evacuate as they are going to launch ground operations against Hezbollah
Moreover, the Israeli military also informed the citizens of southern Lebanon that it is going to carry targeted airstrikes as well so the citizens should avoid travelling on their vehicles as well along the lebanon’s southern border.
The Israeli army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, posted on X, “The IDF (Israeli military) does not want to harm you, and for your own safety you must evacuate your homes immediately. Anyone who is near Hezbollah members, installations and combat equipment is putting his life in danger.”
It further stated, “You must head immediately to the north of the Al-Awali River near the coastal city of Sidon.” However, the citizens of southern Lebanon are facing immense threat to their lives as Israeli raids and strikes in the country are increasing day by day and there are no signs of ceasefire so far.

However, it is pertinent to mention here that Hezbollah denied the claims of Israeli military of launching ground invasion operation in Southern Lebanon. But Israel later released footages of its soldiers raiding in houses where they believe Hezbollah operated. On the other hand, many of the U.S ships and aircrafts are already been placed in the region to help Israel if any target launches from Iran or Hezbollah.
On that note, Israeli military is also anticipating more rocket attacks from Hezbollah in Israel as they are carrying ground invasion in Lebanon. Therefore, Israel has banned all types of gatherings and crowds in the city and has also closed beaches in northern and central Israel. Hence, the situation is extremely daunting on both sides of the border and there are no signs of achieving any ceasefire immediately.
