The situation in Iran is spiraling out of control, with escalating tensions and instability across the region. Right after Iran threatened Israel with possible attacks, Pakistan has put on a seatbelt to assess the situation and make possible implications. Pakistan shares its long border and rich cultural heritage with Iran, and any turmoil or instability in Iran could directly affect the situation in Pakistan as well. Therefore, the authorities at the Pakistan Foreign Office are vigilant about what’s happening in the Middle Eastern region, specifically in Iran.
It is pertinent to mention here that Iran’s acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani made telephonic contact with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Saturday. He asked for Pakistan’s support in the extraordinary session of the Organization of Islamic Conferences (OIC) that is going to be held in the coming few days. He has requested this extraordinary session of the OIC due to the escalating tensions and instability in Iran, and Pakistan has responded positively and demonstrated full support for the session.
Experts from Pakistan’s Foreign Office are speculating on the options Iran could use to respond to Israel’s attack. Iran considers Israel responsible for the death of the top Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh, and therefore is now preparing for a retaliatory attack. However, experts on Middle East politics are foreseeing the situation. According to them, one possible option for Iran is to use its groups backed by Tehran to attack Israel. Another possible scenario could be that Iran launches a direct attack on Israel. But, in both cases, the repercussions will be felt throughout the world, more or less.
Pakistani diplomats are making efforts to neutralize the situation in the Middle East, especially in Gaza, and the instability in Iran as well. Pakistan also considers Israel responsible for carrying out the deadliest genocide in Gaza and is of the opinion that the West must realise the paucity of the situation immediately and will take measures to control the situation. Otherwise, it would be too late to stop the fire from burning the entire forest.
I don’t think the title of your article matches the content lol. Just kidding, mainly because I had some doubts after reading the article.
