It should be noted that the attack took place at school number 68 in Chelyabinsk as confirmed by the area governor, Teksler. This growing trend has prompted concerns about the safety and security of schools, as well as the need for stronger preventive measures to address the root causes of violence among students. The investigation will likely focus on understanding how the attack was planned, whether there were warning signs, and why security protocols failed to prevent the tragedy.
On the other hand, the Russian President, Vladimir Putin, has also took notice of the attack and criticized “globalization”. He said that such incidents are a result of following globalization which has taken its roots from the United States. Putin’s comments suggest that the increasing exposure to global trends, including those linked to violence in other countries, has had a negative impact on Russian society, particularly among its youth.
