In a recent update, the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has officially announced a delay for the CSS MPT 2025, shifting the exam to November 17, 2024. According to the new notification, the Mcqs-based Preliminary Test (MPT) for Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) CSS-2025, which was originally set for October 6, 2024, has now been rescheduled to November 17, 2024 (Sunday). Candidates preparing for the CSS MPT 2025 will now have extra time as the exam date has been moved from October to November 2024.

It should be noted that the CSS MPT 2025 features 200 multiple-choice questions, with each correct answer earning 1 mark. Importantly, there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates have a total of 200 minutes, or 3 hours and 20 minutes, to complete the test. The syllabus for the CSS MPT consists of following sections:
- Islamic Studies (Total Marks = 20) / For Non-Muslims, there is “Civics and Ethics” having same total marks
- Urdu (Total Marks = 20)
- English (Total Marks = 50)
- General Science and Ability (Total Marks = 60)
- General Knowledge (Total Marks = 50)
