The Islamabad police have launched a strict crackdown on PTI protestors as it has started firing tear gas in order to disperse them. The PTI protestors began gathering at D-Chowk in Islamabad on the call of Imran Khan but the federal government is taking them on strict hands. Not to mention, around 6 PTI protestors have been arrested from D-Chowk, Islamabad bringing the nationwide arrests to 30.
Also, the police have started excessive shelling at Polyclinic Hospital and the reports are coming that the tear gas is also affecting the patients inside the hospital. The situation in the capital is escalating rapidly.

Notably, at the Burhan Interchange, the police tried to stop the convoy of PTI protestors coming from KPK which further escalated the situation. The police fired tear gas shells on them as well while trying to disperse them. Also, the Islamabad authorities have sealed all the routes towards D-Chowk and Rawalpindi, cutting access for the PTI protestors to smoothly come at the venue of the protest.
However, the zeal and enthusiasm of PTI protestors is continuously increasing as they are making their way for a peaceful protest at D-chowk. A large number of people are still on their way to reach the venue along with CM KPK, Ali Amin Gandapur, crossing all the hurdles placed by the federal government.
