Notably, at the Burhan Interchange, the police tried to stop the convoy of PTI protestors coming from KPK which further escalated the situation. The police fired tear gas shells on them as well while trying to disperse them. It should be noted that a massive protest by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) has been ongoing at D-chowk on the call of Imran Khan. However, the federal government has placed containers at Faizabad on the Express Highway, leading to the Red Zone. Due to the placement of containers, citizens are facing extreme difficulties on their way. Especially, the students going to educational institutions have faced difficulties in reaching to their institutes on the given time due to the hurdles placed by the government.
Imran khan has given a strong call to hold peaceful protests at Mianwali, Bahawalpur, Faislabad and a big power show at D-chowk Islamabad on October 4, Friday. The PTI leadership is determined and resolute in its plans to hold peaceful protests in the above-mentioned cities while its clashes with the government continue as the government is also showing resistance and putting hurdles to not allow the party workers to reach at the venue of the protests.

Following the federal government orders, the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) authorities have also imposed section 144 in the city, restricting any public gatherings and groupings in the city and the security measures have also been tightened. Rawalpindi Metro Bus Service has also been suspended under further notice and double-riding on motorcycles is also prohibited in the city and the suburbs.
Moreover, the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has also advised its passengers to take safely and timely routes while coming to the Islamabad International Airport as all the flights have been operating as per the routine.
