In a recent development, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, has taken a decisive step by removing two senior PTI leaders, aiming to strengthen the party’s unity and streamline leadership. This move reflects the party’s commitment to fostering greater cooperation and addressing internal challenges effectively.
The two ousted senior PTI leaders include Atif Khan, who has held the position of President for the PTI region, and Sher Ali Arbab, who served as the President of the District Peshawar. As the party navigates these internal issues, the removal of these senior PTI leaders signals a strategic shift in leadership, prompting discussions about the future direction.
It is pertinent to mention here that Gandapur has eliminated Atif Khan due to his public support for the already dismissed member of the party, Minister Shakeel Khan. On the other hand, Sher Ali Arbab has been fired due to his declination to sign the declaration of confidence in Ali Amin Gandapur.
Citing yesterday’s news, it was reported that PTI leadership has requested the ex-President, Arif Alvi to resolve internal conflicts within the party. It should be noted that Ali Amin Gandapur has appointed Arbab Asim, as the new President of PTI Peshawar Region. Similarly, Irfan Saleem has been appointed as the new President of District Peshawar. Moreover, the position for the new Secretary of District Peshawar has been taken over by Shahab Advocate.
