In a latest development, Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) has once again given call for peaceful protests in different cities of Pakistan, especially at D-chowk, Islamabad, on October 4. However, pertaining to the calls of protests of PTI leadership, the government has started placing restrictions on the routes heading towards D-chowk Islamabad.
It has been reported that federal government has placed containers at Faizabad on the Express Highway, leading to the Red Zone. Due to the placement of containers, citizens are facing extreme difficulties on their way. Especially, the students going to educational institutions have faced difficulties in reaching to their institutes on the given time due to the hurdles placed by the government.

However, it is pertinent to mention here that Margalla road is opened for traffic. Imran khan has given a strong call to hold peaceful protests at Mianwali, Bahawalpur, Faislabad and a big power show at D-chowk Islamabad on October 4, Friday. The PTI leadership is determined and resolute in its plans to hold peaceful protests in the above-mentioned cities while its clashes with the government continue as the government is also showing resistance and putting hurdles to not allow the party workers to reach at the venue of the protests.

Following the federal government orders, the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) authorities have also imposed section 144 in the city, restricting any public gatherings and groupings in the city and the security measures have also been tightened.
