In a concerning news, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has announced to reconduct the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024 as the test which was first taken was out of syllabus. The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has also asserted the fact that the test came out of syllabus and hence, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Medical Bhutto University to conduct the test again in the same month and without any further delay.
However, it is pertinent to mention here that a written order has also been issued by the IHC’s Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir for the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Medical Bhutto University to conduct the test again. Apart from this, the IHC also ensured the fact that separate fee should not be charged from students for the reconduct of this test who have already paid the fee in the first attempt.
Also, the Sindh High Court (SHC) has also issued the same directives for the Sindh Board to reconduct the MDCAT 2024 test again within the same month. It stated, “The investigative committee admitted that the entire test system is compromised.”
