In a deeply troubling series of events, the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) launched a coordinated barbaric attack last night, targeting police stations, railway lines, and motorways across the region. One of the most devastating incidents occurred in Musakhail, where a road was attacked, leading to the tragic loss of 23 innocent civilian lives. In addition to the fatalities, BLA militants set fire to 35 vehicles before fleeing the scene, leaving behind a trail of destruction and fear.
This barbaric attack, which the BLA has dubbed “Operation Herof,” has sparked widespread unrest throughout Balochistan. The scale and ferocity of the attack have heightened tensions in the province, with communities reeling from the violence and authorities scrambling to restore order. The barbaric attack has underscored the ongoing instability in the region and the severe impact of such militant actions on the lives of ordinary people.
However, the interior minister, Mohsin Naqvi, stated that in response, 12 of these militants have been killed by the Pakistan security forces. A senior local official said, “They stopped 22 vehicles. Vehicles traveling to and from Punjab were inspected, and individuals from Punjab were identified and shot.”
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has condemned this barbaric attack and stated, “These attacks are a well thought out plan to create anarchy in Pakistan.” On the other hand, President Asif Ali Zardari also condemned the attack and called it a peak of “barbarism” and stated that those involved in it would be treated as per the law and justice.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has took entire responsibility of this barbaric attack and stated that they will carry out even more attacks in future.
